Description 
Ucoplast SR--550 is a new high range water reducing superplasticiser admixture specially formulated to extend working time of flowing concrete. The incorporation of a retardant into the system enable workability to be retained for longer period. 
Ucoplast - SR -550 extends the time span of the slump increase twice or longer. 
Benefit
The powerful dispersing action and the ex- tended period of fluidity offer the following benefits. 
1. High workability:
Concrete containing Ucoplast SR- 550 literally flows and it is almost self leveling. It can be place around congested reinforcement and requires little or no vibration, thus significantly reduces concrete placement time and cost. Improved finish without risk of bleeding and segregation. 
2. Slump Retainer:
Ucoplast SR - 550 retains the slump for longer time and no adverse effect on ultimate strength, specially suitable for hot climate and where pumped concrete is used.
3. Water Reducer:
As a water reducer Ucoplast SR-550 helps upto 25% water reduction which significantly increase early and ultimate strength improves surface finish and water tightness.

Method of use 
Ucoplast SR-550 is to be added into the gauging water and then in concrete.
Normal dosage of Ucoplast-SR-550 is in the range of 400 ml - 800 ml per 50 kg. Cement, depend upon the workability required.
Overdosing
Overdosing should be avoided since it may produced concrete which may lead to segregate and prolonged retardation of set.
Storage Life
One year in the manufacturer's drums. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
Health & Safety
Ucoplast SR- 550 is an industrial  chemical. ingestion should be avoided.
