Description
UCO RELEASE-XL is a concentrated emulsified chemical formwork / mould release agent based on mineral oils, when mixed with water at 1:5 dilution, it produces a thin film of stable release agent.
Properties
UCO RELEASE-XL has an outstanding releasing properties and advantages over conventional oil. It may react with the alkali in the concrete to form a thin water repellent skin on the surface of the mould which enables easy strapping from the hardened concrete. 
Formwork Surface
UCO RELEASE-XL may be used on metal surfaces, particularly effective on resinous coated surfaces. UCO RELEASE-XL can be used safely with white cement. UCO RELEASE-XL is an internationally used material and has an outstanding record of performance. 		 Technical Data

Method of use
Mixing:
First dilute UCO RELEASE-XL in the proportion of 1 litre to 5 litre of water using a clean container on Stirring thoroughly until evenly mixed. If the solution is not used on the same day it should be stirred again before use. 
Apply the solution to the face of the formwork by spray brush or cloth, only one coat should be applied ( as thinly as possible) and allow to dry. If the formwork is not used for several days then only a further coat may be applied.
Storage 
UCO RELEASE-XL has a shelf life of 1 year if stored under 50°c in unopened condition. 
Diluted product should be used within 5 days. Handling Precautions 
UCO RELEASE-XL is an industrial chemicals and inflammable. Proper care should betaken rubber gloves and goggles should used. Skin contact should be avoided.
