Description
UCOPATCH is a specialty prepared, prepacked, flowing micro concrete which requires addition of water only at site to produce free flow high strength shrinkage compensating concrete. It has micro fine aggregates and ability to penetrate in joint to the recesses of concrete membrane and behind the reinforcement of the membrane under repair for larger repairs the mixed product may be modified by the addition of 12 mm down aggregates at site.
Properties 
UCOPATCH is having 3 beneficial properties: 
  1. Free flow : 
    UCOPATCH when mixed with recommended W/P ratio, a cohesive fluid mix is obtained which can be easily poured in congested reinforced concrete, under repair or where pouring is difficult. 
  2. High Strength: 
    UCOPATCH exhibits rapid strength development; ultimate strength is more than 560 kg/cm2 
  3. Expansivity : 
    Positive expansion during setting leads to superior bonding to surrounding materials.

  • All structure under repair.
  • It may be used in any application requiring an economical, high-strength, free flowing repair concrete.

Method of use 
  1. Preparation: 
    The substrate should be sound, clean and free from contamination, weak portion of concrete should be cut back and roughened carefully prewetted. Formwork must be sound to eliminate leakage. 
  2. Application: 
    UCOPATCH should be mixed with correct amount of clean water preferably by mechanical means to get desired consistency and pour in the forms. The powder should never be poured in to still water. Care should be taken to see that the gaps in the shutter are effectively sealed with masking tape or cotton to ensure that the material doesn't run out of shutter joints
  3. Curing: 
    All standard curing practices should be observed sacks, matting, plastic sheets or a curing compound may be used for curing purpose. 

Storage
UCOPATCH has a shelf life of 12 months if unopened. Protect from moisture.
